The Randomizer › Giveaways
Free giveaway & raffle winner picker
Running a giveaway on Instagram, Facebook or TikTok? Paste your entrants, press one button, and a cartoon bird flies over the crowd and poops on the winner. It's a random draw your followers will actually want to watch, and it's completely free.
How to pick a giveaway winner in 4 steps
- Collect the entries. Copy the usernames from the comments, your sign-up form or your raffle tickets.
- Paste them in. One name per line or separated by commas. Press Shuffle if you like, so the order is mixed up on screen.
- Start your screen recording, then press Release the bird (or start a race). Recording the draw is the easiest way to prove it was fair.
- Announce the winner. Post the clip in your stories or reels so everyone sees the moment their name gets hit.
Tips for a fair, trustworthy giveaway
- Publish the rules first: the closing date, how to enter, and how many winners there will be.
- One entry per person. If your rules say so, remove duplicate names before the draw. If extra entries are allowed (for example one per tagged friend), add the name once per entry.
- Several prizes? Turn on Remove winner from list and run one round per prize, so nobody wins twice.
- Keep the recording until the prize has been delivered, in case anyone asks.
Why use The Randomizer for raffles and giveaways
- Fair by design: the winner is drawn with your browser's cryptographic random generator, so every entrant has the same chance.
- Made to be shared: a bird poop reveal or a photo-finish horse race is far more fun to watch than a plain list.
- No sign-up and nothing to install. It works on phones, tablets and computers.
- Private: your entrants' names stay in your browser and are never uploaded.
It works just as well offline: office raffles, school fundraisers, church and community events, or deciding who gets the last slice of pizza.
Questions
Can I pick more than one winner?
Yes. Turn on "Remove winner from list" before you start. After each draw the winner is taken off the list, so you can run one round per prize without anyone winning twice.
Is the draw really random?
Yes. The winner is drawn with your browser's cryptographic random number generator before the animation begins, so every entry has exactly the same chance. The bird or the race only reveals the result.
How do I get Instagram or Facebook commenters into the list?
Copy the usernames from the comments (or from a comment export tool) and paste them in. One name per line or comma-separated both work. If one entry per person is the rule, remove duplicate names first.
